KPC profit hits three-year high despite oil market pressures
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) reported net profit of KD2.155 billion ($6.9 billion) for the 2025/26 fiscal year, marking its strongest earnings performance in three years.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah, Chief Executive Officer of KPC, said the result was achieved despite significant challenges during the period, including weaker global oil prices and regional disruption that contributed to a sharp decline in crude production.
Al-Sabah said the national oil industry nevertheless continued to deliver several strategic milestones during the fiscal year.
These included an expansion of offshore oil exploration activity and a stronger presence in the global petrochemicals sector.
KPC also highlighted the $16 billion Shaheen pipeline transaction, which Al-Sabah described as the largest foreign investment deal in Kuwait’s history.
The performance underscores KPC’s ability to maintain profitability and advance major investment initiatives despite a more difficult operating and market environment.
