Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has announced plans to award AED200bn ($55bn) in projects between 2026 and 2028, marking a major acceleration in the execution phase of its long-term growth strategy.
The planned awards form part of ADNOC’s five-year capital expenditure (CAPEX) programme and span upstream and downstream operations, supporting efforts to meet rising global energy demand while strengthening the UAE’s industrial base.
The announcement was made at the ‘Make it With ADNOC’ Forum, which brought together engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors with 70 UAE-based manufacturers included in ADNOC’s ‘Local+’ programme.
The initiative, launched under ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme, aims to prioritise Made in the Emirates products across project delivery and deepen local manufacturing capabilities.
His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and MD & Group CEO of ADNOC, said the company is entering a new phase of growth driven by scale and execution.
“This marks a new chapter of growth and resilience to meet rising global energy demand while strengthening and expanding the UAE’s industrial and manufacturing base,” Al Jaber said.
He added that ADNOC is strengthening collaboration between EPC contractors and local manufacturers to maximise in-country value and embed localisation at the core of project delivery.
The forum brought together more than 400 participants from government, industry and the private sector, providing visibility into ADNOC’s multi-billion-dollar project pipeline and unlocking new manufacturing opportunities.
It also highlighted the company’s approach to early partner engagement and long-term, performance-based partnerships, supported by a more agile and disciplined project delivery model.
Building on this momentum, ADNOC will launch ‘ADNOC Value Connect — meet the buyer’ during Make it in the Emirates 2026, connecting more than 1,000 companies — including SMEs — with key suppliers and EPC contractors to drive partnerships and strengthen supply chain resilience.
The initiative underscores ADNOC’s broader role in advancing the UAE’s industrial strategy, boosting localisation and supporting the country’s economic diversification goals.
The forum was held ahead of Make it in the Emirates 2026, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) in Abu Dhabi.
